Industrial rubber sheets are widely used for insulation, anti-slip, sealing and corrosion protection. Here we introduce our standard rubber sheet production process.

1. Raw Material Compounding

We select base rubber such as SBR, NBR, EPDM and silicone. Add curing agent, filler, anti-aging agent and colorant according to formula. All materials are weighed and mixed in the internal mixer to get uniform rubber compound.

2. Open Mill Refining

The mixed rubber goes through open mill for further plasticating. This step improves rubber uniformity and removes air bubbles, ready for calendering.

3. Calendering & Shaping

Rubber is fed into calender rollers to roll into continuous sheet. We control thickness, width and surface texture (smooth, fine rib, sesame pattern etc.) as customer requirements. Fabric reinforcement can be added inside for strengthened rubber sheets.

4. Vulcanization

The shaped rubber sheet enters vulcanization oven or vulcanizing press. Under fixed temperature and pressure, cross-linking reaction happens. Rubber obtains stable physical performance: tensile strength, elongation and hardness.

5. Cutting & Quality Inspection

After cooling, rubber sheets are cut into required length. Our QC team tests thickness, hardness, tensile strength, elongation, insulation and oil resistance. Qualified products will be packed for shipment.
